Blending quintessential British design with iconic motoring heritage, the Silk Mill Gallery was the perfect backdrop to welcome friends and clients, old and new.
Guests were treated to insightful talks from Wendy Nicholls and Philip Hooper of Sibyl Colefax and John Fowler, sharing insights to the interiors of the Ford residences of Turville Grange and Eaton Square. The evening was expertly compered by Marc Allum and hosted by our specialists and team. An elegant room set, curated by Philip Hooper, showed how furniture, interior furnishing and decoration came together to create a magical interior from Turville Grange. A striking red Mustang created a dramatic welcome as a nod to Henry T. Ford II who launched the model during his leadership of Ford Motoring Company. Delicious food from Horrell & Horrell, award winning sparkling white from Wraxall Vineyard and botanical infusions from Sprigster were enjoyed by all in attendance.
We now look forward to the auction on 3 July, catalogue will be online in mid June.
