DORE & REES AND NICK WELLS TO FEATURE IN THE CAR YEARS ON ITV4

THE CAR YEARS RETURNS ON ITV4 ON TUESDAY EVENINGS
FROM 9 AUGUST

The hotly anticipated third season of the Car Years returns on ITV4 on Tuesday 9 August, when presenters Vicki Butler-Henderson and Alex Riley do battle to decide which cars they think were the greatest from a moment in time. Filmed on Ireland’s stunning Wild Atlantic Way the programme features breath taking scenery and roads, such as the Ring of Kerry and the Connor Pass.  

Only one car can win and adjudication comes in the form of three expert judges: a panel of famous faces and industry experts each doubling up as an expert commentator, helping tell the stories and backgrounds behind the stand-out cars.  

The classic cars featured include the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, a Honda NSX, the Jensen Interceptor, a Ford Lotus Cortina, a Fiat 500 and the Mazda MX5, from motoring decades spanning the 1950s through the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s right up to 1993.  

With Episodes 2, 3 and 4 filmed at Dore & Rees’ auction salerooms in Frome, Classic Car experts Ben Collins of Top Gear fame, and our very own Nick Wells, provide us with the backdrop to the births of these landmark models, and then pick their winners from each year.
